PE Teacher (0.5 FTE - Permanent)

Salary: MPS/UPS (pro-rata, dependent on experience)
We are working in partnership with a nonperforming secondary school, who are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher to join their Physical Education department on a 0.5 permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
The Role
Teach Physical Education across different year groups
Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that encourage participation and progress
Support extracurricular sport and enrichment activities where appropriate
Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-established PE department
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE
Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
Is organised, reflective, and committed to student wellbeing
