PE Teacher – SEND School, Newark Job Title: PE Teacher – SEND Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire Start Date: ASAP Contract Type:Temp-to-Perm Salary: £160 – £220 per day About the Role: We are recruiting a dedicated PE Teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive physical education lessons in a specialist SEND school. You will support pupils with a wide range of additional needs to develop physical skills, coordination, confidence, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver inclusive PE lessons tailored to pupils with SEND. * Promote physical health, teamwork, and personal development. * Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCo. * Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting activities where necessary. * Support behaviour management and positive engagement in lessons. Ideal Candidate: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent PE teaching experience. * Experience working with children with SEND preferred. * Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability. * Ability to create safe, motivating, and fun learning environments. * Commitment to inclusive education.
