PE Teacher – Immediate Start (After Easter Half Term)
Location: Loughton, Essex Pay: £150 – £250 per day Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Duration: After Easter half term until the end of the academic year (potential to go permanent)
We Staff Education are partnering with a well-established secondary school in Loughton to recruit a qualified PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter half term.
This is a great opportunity to step into a structured and supportive department where you can make an immediate impact, with the added benefit of a potential permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting participation, teamwork, and a positive approach to physical education.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports
* Creating a positive and well-managed learning environment
* Encouraging student participation and development
* Assessing and monitoring student progress
* Contributing to extracurricular activities where possible
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
* Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
* Brings energy, consistency, and a proactive approach
* Is confident stepping into a role and building rapport quickly
