The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Female Physical Education Teacher (for safeguarding reasons) to join a vibrant secondary school in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and promote a love of physical activity, health, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Encourage participation in a range of sports and physical activities
Support extracurricular sports clubs and school teams
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
Uphold safeguarding and promote student welfare at all times
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism in Physical Education
Ability to teach girls’ PE (this is an occupational requirement in line with equality legislation)
Strong classroom management skills
A commitment to promoting inclusion and student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
