People and Wellbeing Advisor - £37,855 per annum – Warrington, Cheshire (Remote)

Making Space is a values-led organisation supporting communities across the UK, and we are looking for a People and Wellbeing Advisor to join our friendly People Services team.
The role
This is a 10-month fixed term opportunity (maternity cover), with potential to extend. Based at our Warrington Head Office, you will benefit from a hybrid approach, combining home working with time on site.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and colleagues, offering practical advice and support across a range of people matters while helping to build a positive and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clear, practical People advice to managers
Manage a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, capability, ill-health and performance matters
Support managers through formal processes, including difficult conversations and outcomes
Assist with consultation activity, including redundancy and organisational change
Support more complex activities such as TUPE and restructuring
Encourage wellbeing, engagement and positive working relationships
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies
Support audits, reporting and ongoing improvements
Visit services when needed to offer hands-on support

The person
CIPD Level 5 qualified
Experienced in generalist HR, including complex employee relations cases
Calm, organised and able to manage a busy workload
Confident working independently while supporting others
Someone who shares our values and enjoys working with people
