People Director

Significant, Six-Figures Basic salary + Bonus

This market-leading and highly respected 3PL provider requires an experienced HR professional. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the People Director will lead a large HR team to ensure colleagues within their group are developed to deliver the business plan, which is integral to the strategic aims and objectives of the business. This includes leading the people strategy covering the full employee cycle.

The role ensures that the people strategy aligns with the overall business strategy, drives business performance, and supports a high-performance culture.

A key aspect of this role involves industrial relations, including managing relationships with unions and devising IR strategies. The ideal candidate will be a credible People Director with relevant experience, strong knowledge of logistics industry challenges, preferably gained within a 3PL or fast-paced, consumer-led environment. Hands-on experience in industrial relations and managing heavily unionized workforces through change is essential.
