My client is a technology and data analytics business that works across a large portfolio of clients globally, advising on world changing decisions and impactful change. They are looking to appoint a People Operations Director with a deep expertise in transforming HR Operations and systems to oversee and optimise the full employee lifecycle across multiple regions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll take ownership of HR operations across a global organisation, ensuring every stage of the employee journey-from onboarding to offboarding-is managed seamlessly. You'll be the go-to expert for HR systems, maintaining and enhancing technology platforms, managing integrations, and partnering with IT and vendors to keep everything running smoothly.
You will also focus on updating policies, procedures and transforming the end to end employee journey, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement throughout. This position manages a team of 14 HR professionals globally and you will be responsible for upskilling and driving high performance and delivery across the people services remit.
Your focus will extend to compliance and data integrity, ensuring employment laws are adhered to across multiple geographies and that HR data remains accurate and secure. You'll set clear standards and service levels, creating guidance and tools that empower managers and employees worldwide. Leading a diverse team of HR specialists and managers, you'll foster an inclusive, collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement in processes and policies.
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role we are looking for an experienced senior HR professional who has worked in either a HR Operations or HR Shared Services position with a global remit. Ideally your experience will be within a tech, data, data analytics or IT systems organisation. The business is SME in size so being comfortable with autonomy and building relationships quickly will be key.
You must be able to demonstrate experience delivering a full transformation and embedding of new HR systems and processes for the full employee lifecycle.
Significant HR Operations experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing HR operations for complex, multinational teams.
Team leadership experience, managing and driving teams to high performing outcomes.
Proven success implementing and maintaining HR systems and driving automation.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple regions.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
Location: London, 3x per week
Salary: £130,000 - £150,000 + bonus
