Job Title: Technical Manager\nLocation: Hammersmith, London\n\nCBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Permit and Compliance Manager to join the team.\n \nAs a Permit and Compliance Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance and permitting processes across the contract. You will ensure that all operational activities meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements, while identifying opportunities to enhance performance and client satisfaction.\n \nThis role is part of the Contract Quality Management function and is critical in ensuring the delivery of contractual services aligns with legal, regulatory, and client expectations.\n \nKey Responsibilities: \n\nOversee the creation, revision, and enforcement of compliance and permitting policies and procedures.\n\nManage the end-to-end permitting process, ensuring timely submissions, renewals, and adherence to local and regulations.\n\nCoordinate and deliver compliance training programs, including scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.\n\nDevelop and present compliance and training metrics to internal stakeholders and client representatives in line with service level agreements.\n\nMaintain accurate records for employees and third-party service providers, ensuring documentation is audit-ready.\n\nLead internal audits and self-inspections, including planning, execution, reporting, and closure of findings.\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and client compliance teams.\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance effectiveness and operational efficiency.\n\nProvide guidance and mentorship to compliance staff.\n \nExperience Required: \n\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in compliance, permitting, or quality management roles.\n\nStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the industry.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\n\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\n\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.\n\nExperience managing audits and working with external regulatory agencies is a plus
