As part of the Digital team, you will support our senior leaders in doing their roles to the best of their abilities. You will be down-to-earth, sociable, loyal, discreet, and possess a great sense of humour—able to work calmly under pressure in a regulated and rapidly changing environment.
What you will be doing as a Personal Assistant
- Skilful, intuitive, and practical diary management to maximise the Leadership team's time, looking after their welfare and time effectively for a work-life balance.
- Acting as the first point of contact and “face” for the Digital Transformation office, fielding all queries from internal or external customers, meeting and greeting key stakeholders, processing, and replying to sensitive and confidential correspondence, and forwarding requests as appropriate.
- Manage multiple diaries and expenses, raise recruitment and shopping cart orders as required, and ensure approvals and authorisations are dealt with promptly.
- Organise meetings, events, and departmental activities, take minutes, record actions, and arrange travel and venues as needed.
- Draft confidential documents and memos, respond to all forms of communication on behalf of the Digital Transformation Lead team, and support presentations.
- Coordinate project and event management, including internal staff events.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholder EAs and PAs, as relationships are key to this role.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and committed working environment, fostering respect and trust among colleagues.
Location: Hybrid, Clearwater Court, Reading
Working hours: 36 hours, Monday to Friday

- Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual leave: 24 days, increasing to 28 with service, plus bank holidays.
