Pipe Fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework Lockerbie, DG11 1LW. 48 Hours Monday - Friday 7.00am - 17.30pm 6 months work. Operating out of offices across the UK their multi-disciplinary teams provide turnkey solutions from pre-project feasibility studies and initial conceptual design, through to manufacture, installation and commissioning, inclusive of all aspects of Project & H&S Management, Process & Service Pipework Fabrication, Equipment Relocation, Electrical C&I, Panel building & software, Civil Engineering and Construction.This is an excellent opportunity for a Pipe fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework, to join the company's on site operation supporting a maintenance and new build project in Lockerbie.

Duties As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter welder you will be working on site at a food production facility in Lockerbie, DG11 1LW. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding 1' to 4' OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, with a small amount of schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4' diameter along with carbon steel up to 6'. Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary. About you Ideally based in the Dumfries and Galloway you will need to live within a commutable distance of DG11 1LW. Demonstrable experience of pipe-fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential for this role. You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up along with air fed mask, welding plant, workbench and a good selection of hand and power tools.
