Recruit4staff are representing an established engineering business in their search for a Pipefitter to work from their Widnes based workshop, also on their project sites in Warrington & Trafford Park, Manchester

Job Details:

Pay: £24.05 per hour (CIS)
Overtime paid at enhanced rates: £28.70 / £33.35
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 07.30 – 16.00.
Duration: Contract (Minimum of 6 weeks, can become a long-term semi-permanent position)
Job Role: Working within the workshop and site. The workshop work will include, but limited to, working to drawings to cut/prep and set up new pipework spools for welding. The Site work will include the measuring of field fit lengths of pipework and been able to communicate the information. The candidate must be willing to also carry out site installation works, bolting pipe spools, valves, pumps and must also be able to fabricate/install screwed pipe.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Fabrication and installation of screwed pipework
Measuring, cutting, and prepping pipework
Site installation and maintenance experience
C&G/NVQ in Pipefitting/Fabrication or equivalent
CCNSG/SCATS or equivalent site safety ticket
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

Tacking up pipework
Welding of pipework
Additional Information

Overtime – project/job dependant and regular shutdowns
Free parking on site
Company van can be utilised for candidates in Widnes, Runcorn, and South Liverpool areas
Site work will be in Warrington & Trafford Park, Manchester
Shutdowns happening end of April/early May.
