Planner Rate: to £400 per day Ltd Based: London (HA0) About the Company: Highly regarded and respected civils contractor seeks a Planner to join the Team. The Company turnover is in the region of £250m per annum, with civils making up £150m, but with plans for major growth in the coming years. Project values range up to £50m, and they will operate as both a Tier 1 and 2. About the Role: The Planner will play a key role on 2 schemes, valued together at £40m. Both schemes form part of a wider, major project and growth spend on a scheme that has several years longevity in it. The specific works itself will involve RC, structures and general civils. The role will report into the Head of Planning. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain detailed project programmes (Primavera P6 / MS Project). Develop baseline schedules, critical path analysis and progress reporting. Liaise with site teams, commercial and design departments to update programme status. Identify risks, delays and mitigation strategies. Support tender planning and resource forecasting. Produce short-term lookaheads and client reports. Requirements: Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of planning software (P6 preferred). Understanding of NEC/JCT contracts. Analytical and communication skills. Structured career history Degree Qualified ideally
