The Company

NEOS are working with a well-established and growing plant hire business supplying a wide range of machinery to construction, infrastructure and industrial projects across the UK. With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Workshop Engineer.

The Role

This is a workshop-based position responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy plant and equipment.

You will play a key role in ensuring machinery is prepared, maintained and returned to site in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair a wide range of plant equipment Diagnose and fault find mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues Carry out PDI’s and inspections on equipment Prepare machines for hire and ensure they meet safety standards Complete job sheets and service records accurately Work closely with the hire desk and operations team Equipment You May Work On

Excavators Dumpers Rollers Telehandlers Small tools & ancillary equipment What We’re Looking For

Experience working as a Plant Engineer / Workshop Engineer Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge Basic electrical fault finding skills Experience within plant hire, construction or similar environments Reliable, organised and able to work independently Full UK Driving Licence (desirable) Package
