*Job Description / Requirements*

To work within a busy forward thinking family run company as part of a team of skilled tradesmen assessing and treating damp / timber and building defects in domestic and commercial properties and undertaking refurbishment and new works, throughout South and West Wales.

An eye for detail, an ability to work to tight deadlines and a customer focused approach are essential.

We are seeking experienced, qualified, and suitably trained plasterer who is competent in the following aspect of plastering:

*. Plastering Internal and External Finishes.*

*. Applies coats of plaster to interior walls, ceilings, and partitions of buildings, to produce finished surface, according to architect's drawings or oral instructions*

*. Using hand tools and portable power tools: Direct workers to mix plaster to desired consistency.*

*. Spreads plaster over lath or masonry base, using trowel, and smooths plaster with trowel and float to attain uniform thickness.*

*. Roughens undercoat with scratcher to provide bond for succeeding coats of plaster.*

*. Creates decorative textures in finish coat by marking surface of coat with brush and trowel.*

*. Specialize in applying finish or rough coats of plaster and be designated Plasterer, Finish; Plasterer, Rough.*

*. May perform maintenance work only and be designated Plasterer / Maintenance operative.*

Candidates must have own transport to arrive at our base in Swansea, a company vehicle will be provided through out the working day, have their own tools for all aspects of the trades to be undertaken.
