Our Financial Services Client is looking for a Platform Tech Lead, Payments to support Digital Services Platform for the development, deployment, and support of a new, cutting-edge digital banking platform.

This is a Permanent role, with Remote work options. Vancouver, BC is preferred, but open to candidates from BC, Ontario, and Alberta.

Must Have:

• 8+ years of experience in platform full stack development, integration, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Understanding of Canadian banking and payments ecosystem including the partner landscape
• Good understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), API development, microservices architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and integration technologies
• Familiar with multi-server environments
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
• Strong technical leadership abilities, with experience in technical decision-making, road mapping & platform optimization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams & articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
