Plumber Improver Role – Cambridge
ARC is currently recruiting for a Plumber Improver to work on a long-term project in Cambridge. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting plumbing installations within residential conversion projects.
Plumber Improver Responsibilities
Assisting plumbers on residential conversion projects
Supporting plumbing installations within HMO developments
Carrying out first and second fix duties under supervision
Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
General plumbing support across the site
Plumber Improver Requirements
Previous experience working on HMO projects (residential dwellings converted into multiple occupancies)
Valid UK driving licence
Basic plumbing experience and understanding of site procedures
Ability to work well as part of a team
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
Plumber Improver Details
Location: Cambridge
Pay rate: £19 – £21 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract length: 12 months
Start date: February 2026
