The main purpose of the Plumber  is to be responsible for supporting with planned works across our Remedials and Quoted works team.
In return, we are offering a salary of up to 41,000+ overtime, depending on experience, plus annual leave, pension after probation, progressive opportunities.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be start times of 5am, but you must be flexible depending on the location of works and occasional night work and stayaways.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities as a plumber will include:
Must demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment. Must be competent in operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works. Competent in operating HPWJ equipment Capable of investigating and tracing external underground drainage systems on commercial and industrial sites. Strong attention to detail and a customer focused attitude. Must be a self-motivated individual and it is important that you have excellent people, communication and customer service skills. Leak tracing and investigation on above ground water services Repairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers. Removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc Replacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns Replacing toilet float lines and stack pipework Removing and Installing cast iron soil pipework Supporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales. Capable of identifying configuration and design issues within internal drainage systems. Competent in undertaking CCTV survey inspections where you will be responsible for identifying defects, pipe condition, design issues and misconnections within underground and above ground drainage systems. Using CCTV equipment to support leak investigation. Taking water samples to confirm source of leaks.
The ideal Plumber:
Confined space trained 3 year experience HPWJ PASMA City Guilds level 1 & 2 plumbing Large Vehicles: CAT C (> 3,500kg) Willingness to work nights when required and do occasional stayaways
