PMO Analyst
Our client are seeking an experienced PMO Analystto support the delivery of a large scale transformation programme for a public sector client.
Role Overview
You'll be responsible for working closely with an existing PMO team to deliver core services including RAID management, document control, governance and reporting, change control, and stage gate support. You'll provide guidance to project teams, ensure adherence to governance standards, and maintain consistency across programme tools and templates. Your work will be key to enabling successful delivery and continuous improvement across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver PMO services including governance, RAID, change control, stage gates, and document management
Develop and maintain project management processes, procedures, tools, and templates
Support stakeholder engagement and communication across internal and external teams
Ensure governance structures and reporting frameworks are embedded and adhered to
Collaborate with planning specialists to manage impacts and interdependencies
Maintain resource forecasts and support onboarding/offboarding processes
Manage risk and issue logs, escalate concerns, and ensure timely updates
Monitor and manage programme dependencies to prevent delivery impact
Oversee change control processes and stage gate procedures
Facilitate lessons learned sessions and support delivery assurance activities
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience working on large, complex programmes within a P3O-style PMO
Strong knowledge of RAID, change control, stage gate, and document management processes
Excellent written communication and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
Experience supporting governance and reporting services for transformation programmes
Proven ability to manage workload and adapt to evolving priorities
Experience working with external clients, partners, and suppliers
Ability to contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience in a PMO role within an ERP implementation
Desirable Skills & Experience
PMO-related qualification (e.g., P3O, MoP, MoR) or project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, APMP)
The salary for this role is up to £50,000 and our client is working to a majority remote working model with occasional travel to their London based office.
