We have a current opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer on a contract basis.
The role is for 9-12 months, with Hybrid working. Please see a breakdown of some of the Job description below, however for further information about this position please apply.
Lead design and prototyping of electronic and power‑electronic circuits, including schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing drawings.
Test and characterise prototypes; develop and maintain automated test rigs for power‑supply validation.
Develop and debug FPGA and micro-controller code for power‑supply systems.
Oversee routine monitoring, testing, and preventative maintenance of power supplies, recommending improvements.
Lead safety activities, preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and procedures.
Plan and coordinate shutdowns, installations, commissioning work, and manage contractors and resources.
