School Teacher
- Annual Salary: £150 - £220 per day
- Location: Greenwich
- Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated School Teacher to join our dynamic team in the Greenwich area. This role involves leading the classroom, working closely with children, supporting teaching assistants, and contributing to a supportive learning environment tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the classroom, ensuring all lessons are inclusive and cater to the needs of SEN students.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and provide specialized 1:1 support to students with specific educational needs.
- Develop and implement engaging educational strategies that enhance learning outcomes for SEN students.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on special educational needs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom activities and engage students effectively.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with other staff members and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
- A relevant educational qualification, with specific training in special needs education highly regarded.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to supporting the educational and emotional needs of SEN students.
