Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Altrincham

Location: Altrincham
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Altrincham as they look to appoint a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 5 learners
Track, assess, and record pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
Work closely with colleagues to support high standards of teaching and learning
Take part in CPD and contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate effectively to support a range of learning needs
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current teaching practices
Confident use of technology to enhance learning
Strong classroom management and leadership qualities
Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Year 5 or within Key Stage 2
(ECTs with relevant placements are encouraged to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
