Job Description

Overview:

A global semiconductor company is seeking a Principal GPU HW Design Engineer to design and optimise next- graphics silicon. You’ll work across RTL and microarchitecture, collaborating with design, verification, and validation teams to deliver high-performance, power-efficient hardware.

Key responsibilities

Define microarchitecture specs and implement RTL (SystemVerilog) at IP/SoC level

Analyse and optimise circuits for performance, power, and area

Debug designs, support reviews, and improve design environments

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practice

Requirements

Strong digital IC design and RTL experience

ASIC/FPGA tool expertise

Solid optimisation and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

GPU/CPU architecture knowledge, P&R exposure, scripting (Python/TCL), or UVM/verification experience.
