Principal Pricing Analyst (Actuarial Pricing)Location: London, Bournemouth, Leeds, or BirminghamSalary: £75k + Bonus + Excellent PackageHybrid working: 2 days in the office per month.Hawksworth UK is recruiting for a Principal Pricing Analyst (Actuarial Pricing) for a respected Large Insurance group. We offer a competitive salary of up to £75,000 base salary, up to 15% bonus, 26 days holiday, private medical, and a pension (double your contribution to 14%).We are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst with significant experience in the insurance pricing arena. You will take charge of major projects and influence pricing strategy, looking at current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role is in General Insurance, but we will consider candidates from Life/Risk areas as well.Required Skills & Experience:Significant pricing or reserving experienceExcellent working knowledge of actuarial methods and principles, ideally in a pricing context, including the use of actuarial softwareData science skills are preferableExperience in an insurance pricing roleUnderstanding of modeling techniques, including GLMs and GBMs and their application to insurance pricingKnowledge of price optimization and the general insurance regulatory environmentFamiliarity with Willis Towers Watson’s software Radar and Emblem or similarProficiency in Excel and MS Office or equivalent applicationsExcellent data handling skills using SAS and/or SQL; experience in a data science programming language, preferably PythonKnowledge of Agile project management processesIf you have the required pricing, actuarial, and modeling skills and are looking to take the next step in your career, please apply now.
