In this exciting role, you can anticipate taking charge of the entire development and planning processes from inception to completion. You’ll will need outstanding communication and negotiation skills along with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines! **Please be advised, you will be expected to be in the office or on site a minimum of 3 to 4 days a week**What you'll doIdentifying, negotiating and acquiring freehold and leasehold deals to build new stores – you will enjoy creating opportunitiesUndertake site inspections, development appraisals, manage site, legal and planning due diligence on all opportunitiesManage planning applications life cycle from original submission, through to consent and discharge of conditionsOwnership/leading all expansion, relocation and improvement projects to our current infrastructureDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants and developersDriving the full development and planning process from initial concept to final completionReal estate management of our freehold and leasehold assets What you'll needA self-starting drive to succeed, a get up and go attitudeDegree-level education (2:2 minimum) ideally in a relevant disciplineExposure to retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property or town planning is essential for this roleIdeally MRICS qualifiedA well networked individual with refined negotiating skillsSound commercial property and legal acumenExcellent communication and organisational skillsA highly analytical mindThe ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlinesStrong Microsoft Office skillsA full driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK What you'll receive•
