Job Description

Principal Software Engineer

Basildon

3-Month Contract

Paying up to £70p/h (Inside IR35)

Please note - due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security clearance - please only apply if suitable

Key Responsibilities:

C++ software development

Development of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints

Developing Windows & Linux application

Required Skillset:

Understanding and knowledge of one or more of the following:

C++ software development

Experience using Rhapsody

Development of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints.

Familiarity with the tools and approaches to Embedded development.

Experience with developing Windows & Linux applications.

Experience of using Iterative development life cycles (for example tailored Agile.)

Experience using tools associated with Iterative development life cycles (Jira/DevOps.)

Familiarity with development, design, and coding standards.
