Principal Thermal Engineer\n\n12 month contract\n\nBased in Stevenage\n\nOffering £50ph Inside IR35\n\nDo you have experience carrying out thermal analysis of electronics?\n\nDo you have experience with MATLAB/Simulink?\n\nDo you want to work with an industry-leading company?\n\nIf your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!\n\nAs the Principal Thermal Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. \n\nYou will be involved in:\n\nTake ownership of delivering packages of thermal analysis work\nProvide mechanical analysis support to develop designs and deliver thermal performance evidence\nDeliver analysis evidence in clear reports with firm conclusion statements\nParticipate in team meetings and design reviews\nManage workload against time schedules and report progress regularly to stakeholders\nResponsible for dealing and collaborating with project stakeholders (internal & external) \n\nYour skillset may include:\n\nProven ability to carry out thermal analysis through the application of hand calculations and Finite Element methods (e.g.
