Job Description

Our client, a leading US‑headquartered global law firm, is seeking a Corporate Private Equity Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly regarded transactional practice. The team advises major PE sponsors, financial investors and portfolio companies on high‑value, cross‑border matters.


The successful candidate will work on a broad range of private equity transactions, gaining exposure to market‑leading work and direct client interaction from day one. The role involves advising on acquisitions, disposals, investments, restructurings and portfolio company matters, as well as supporting clients on strategic and commercial issues across their sectors.

This is a collaborative, high‑performance environment where associates are given responsibility based on capability rather than PQE. The role also offers opportunities for client secondments and potential postings to overseas offices as part of the firm’s global associate programme.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising and supporting PE sponsors, financial investors and portfolio companies on transactional and strategic matters
  • Building strong client relationships and understanding key commercial and sector drivers
  • Contributing to business development and profile‑raising initiatives
  • Working closely with colleagues across the global network and sharing knowledge within the team


About You:

  • Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE and strong academic credentials
  • Experience in private equity or high‑value corporate transactional work
  • Excellent drafting skills and strong commercial judgment
