The post holder will lead the procurement of commissioning activity for the Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Services, supporting the redesign, recommissioning and ongoing contract management. The role ensures delivery of high‑quality, value‑for‑money services aligned to Trust and ICS priorities, supports service redesign and market shaping, and ensures compliance with statutory and governance frameworks.The role exists to integrate procurement expertise with commissioning cycle to deliver compliant, efficient, end‑to‑end commercial management that enables improved patient outcomes, financial sustainability and operational resilience across the Trust.Main duties of the job- Ensure all activity is fully compliant with statutory and Trust governance frameworks.- Lead the planning, prioritisation and delivery of commissioning and procurement projects, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives and statutory requirements.- Manage and mitigate commercial, quality and operational risks associated with commissioning and procurement activity- Ensure commercial information, data and documentation are appropriately stored and meet confidentiality and IG requirements.- Support the recruitment, induction, development and appraisal of staff in line with Trust HR policies- Provide expert advice to senior clinical, operational and corporate leaders on commissioning and procurement matters.Working for our organisationOxford Health is a great place to work and to be able to showcase the best of yourself when making an application please read the “candidate guide to making an application” and ensure your supporting statement is tailored to the role you are applying for and addresses any essential criteria.As a Trust we provide physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and Northeast Somerset.
