AsanUpholsteryProductDeveloper,youllbringcreativeideastolife-turningconceptsintohigh-quality,commerciallyviableproducts.Collaboratingwithinternationaldesignstudiosandworkinghands-onintheworkshop,youllplayakeyroleineverystageofdevelopment,fromprototypetoproduction.

UpholsteryProductDeveloperrole:

  • Developandrefineprototypes,testingcomfort,ergonomics,anddurability.
  • Source,test,andevaluateupholsterymaterials,foams,andfinishesthatmeetdesignandsustainabilitygoals.
  • Carryoutupholsteryworkintheworkshopwhenneeded.
  • Liaisewithsuppliers,manufacturers,andinternalteamstoensureprojectsrunsmoothlyfromsamplingthroughtoproduction.
  • Continuouslyimproveexistingproductrangesandexplorenewopportunitiesforinnovation.

AboutYou

  • Provenexperienceinupholsteryandpatterncutting.
  • Strongknowledgeofupholsteryconstruction,foams,textilesandframes.
  • Practicalproblem-solverwithahands-on,can-doattitude.
  • Excellentcommunicationandorganisationalskills.
  • TechnicaldrawingorCADskills(SolidWorks,AutoCAD,orsimilar)desirable.

WhatsonofferfortheUpholsteryProductDeveloper:

  • Salarybetween£30,000-£35,000,withroomtogrow.
  • 25daysholidayplusbankholidays.
