Your product mission is to assist Algolia’s business users with proactive suggestions, smart tools and automation capabilities to optimize their search and discovery curation strategies and reduce their workload. You will build a deep understanding of the needs and workflows of Algolia’s business users - e.g. merchandisers, content editors or marketers - and equip them with assistive, AI-driven tools to automate and optimize their efforts.
As a Senior Product Manager at Algolia, you will be at the forefront of driving product strategy and execution. Drive product discovery to understand and define who for, why and what we’re building to deliver on the mission.
Whether it’s mocking up concepts, writing functional specs or drafting a copy - you’ll do whatever it takes to push your product throughout the end-to-end lifecycle, in collaboration with engineers, designers, other product managers and cross-functional collaborators.
Shape agile processes and foster cross-functional team dynamics to deliver delightful, powerful products that exceed customer expectations and drive tangible business outcomes.
Build and nurture an agile and innovative product culture within the team, founded on the importance of continuous, rapid prototyping and learning.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (legal, marketing, sales, customer success) to successfully launch products, drive adoption, and optimize customer retention.
Proven experience in building and launching AI-driven products, ideally generative AI or automation solutions that support business users’ workflows.
Deep user empathy, ability to collaborate with product design to build best-in-class user experiences.
Data-driven/informed, with a strong ability to leverage analytics to measure product success, prioritize features, and refine strategies based on customer insights.
Proven track record in shipping and iterating on products within an agile software development environment.
Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills with engineering, design, product marketing, GTM sales, and customer support to help launch new products and support existing ones.
Expertise in search & recommendations engines, hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies.
If no prior experience: ability and willingness to learn about specific industry trends and ecosystems, most importantly eCommerce.
