The EU network S&OP team within SCOT forecasts inventory flows to and from each country - what Amazon receives from its vendors/sellers, and what it ships from its Fulfillment Centers (FCs). We are also responsible for measuring S&OP performance, and driving continuous improvement in the tools and methods used by S&OP teams to plan local networks, optimizing for reliability, speed, cost and sustainability.
We work as part of Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) teams in North America & EU, who own the systems and the inputs we rely on to plan our networks. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Tech who can be in charge of new models to drive improvements in S&OP accuracy, automation, and plan optimality – partnering with teams across SCOT.
You will be in charge of creating new automated data pipelines and processes, building the single source of truth for all operations teams relying on S&OP data to make business decisions.
Designing and implementing complex data models, developing advanced analytics solutions, and creating insightful dashboards and reports.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and product management, to identify opportunities for supply chain optimization.
Translating business requirements into technical specifications, conducting in-depth data analysis, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentoring junior team members, driving best practices in data engineering and visualization, and contributing to the overall data strategy of the supply chain organization.- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
