Product Manager - Digital & Asset Systems

The Opportunity

A leading organisation is delivering a major long-term infrastructure and sustainability programme. We’re looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of critical digital and data systems that support complex assets, large-scale projects, and multi-organisation collaboration.

This role sits at the heart of a multi-billion-pound investment in modern infrastructure, where you’ll help shape the strategy and tools that enable efficiency, compliance, and smarter decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage digital products spanning asset management, GIS, and programme/project systems.
  • Shape and deliver a multi-year roadmap that aligns multiple stakeholders under one data strategy.
  • Lead upgrades, migrations, and integrations of legacy systems into modern, agile environments.
  • Translate diverse user needs into priorities that balance usability, performance, and compliance.
  • Ensure data and reporting standards are applied consistently across systems.

What We’re Looking For

You may come from an asset-heavy industry (utilities, energy, water, gas, construction, transport) or the public sector (local government, digital services, or infrastructure programmes).

  • Experience managing complex digital or data-driven products.
  • Strong background in stakeholder alignment across multiple organisations.
  • Comfortable working with both technical systems and non-technical users.
  • Understanding of asset data, GIS, or large-scale programme systems.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to manage change and modernisation.

What’s on Offer

  • £63k salary
  • Excellent pension scheme
  • 27 days annual leave (rising with service)
  • Flexible hybrid working
  • Career development and training
  • Wellbeing support and benefits

Why Apply

This is a unique chance to join a high-profile sustainability and infrastructure programme and shape how asset data and digital systems are used over the next five years. You’ll be central to delivering a common strategy across multiple organisations and ensuring technology has a real impact on efficiency and public outcomes.
