Key Responsibilities
Operational Management Oversee daily warehouse and production operations, ensuring timely preparation and dispatch of event equipment Implement and maintain efficient processes for inventory management, logistics, and quality control Ensure all production schedules align with client deadlines and event requirements Team Leadership Lead, manage, and develop warehouse and production staff, including supervisors and team leads Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development planning Logistics & Planning Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transport scheduling and route planning Work closely with event and project teams to forecast demand and allocate resources effectively Manage stock levels, procurement, and supplier relationships Health & Safety Compliance Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Conduct regular risk assessments and implement safe working practices Promote a culture of safety across all operations Financial & Performance Management Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies Monitor KPIs and produce regular performance reports Support senior leadership with strategic planning and operational improvements
Key Requirements
Proven experience in a senior warehouse, production, or operations management role (ideally within events, hospitality, or logistics) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Must be flexible in working weekends Experience managing complex logistics and tight deadlines Solid understanding of health & safety regulations Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable Skills & Experience
Background in event production or catering logistics Experience managing large-scale or high-volume operations Knowledge of fleet management and transport compliance Continuous improvement or lean process experience
