*Pay Rates:* Depending on experience £12.52 - £13.80 p/h - AM Shift £13.15 - £14.49 p/h - PM Shift £14.40 - £15.87 p/h - Night Shift Weekly Pay

*Job Description:* As a Line Leader in our food factory, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety and accurate inventory management. The work environment maintains a chill atmosphere. *This is Temp to Perm opportunity, we are seeking individuals ready for permanent employment and willing to work full-time.*

*Key Responsibilities:*

- *Supervise Production Line:* Lead and manage a team of production line workers engaged in various stages of food processing, including accurate handling, weighting, packaging, and labelling.

- *Ensure Production Targets:* Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Monitor and adjust production processes as needed to optimize efficiency.

- *Quality Control*: Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed company and regulatory standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.

- *Training and Development:* Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to production line staff. Ensure that all team members are proficient in their roles and adhere to safety and quality protocols.

- *Safety Compliance:* Uphold and enforce safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and audits to identify and address potential hazards.

- *Equipment Maintenance:* Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and promptly address any breakdowns or malfunctions.

- *Documentation:* Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics. Generate reports as required by management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- *Communication:* Foster clear communication channels between different departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance. Address and resolve any issues that may impact production efficiency or product quality.

*Please note that duties involve handling meat, specifically pork*

*Qualifications and Skills: *Please note that fully paid training will be provided, however we are seeking for a candidate with previous experience.

- Ideally experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a meat processing or food production environment.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to enforce compliance.

- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
