What you'll need to succeed Experience of leading and managing a team. An understanding of the production process and finishing process and how it impacts on finished product quality. How to monitor the Quality Standards for Repair / Workmanship Standards. Understanding design of food manufacturing machinery and premises, in conjunction with engineers and food technologists. Monitoring cleaning operations to maintain hygiene standards. Preparation and attendance for third party food safety audits, e.g. customer audits. Developing and agreeing a project plan with the General Manager and Transport Manager on acceptance of new customer orders. Creating and maintaining a positive safety and hygiene culture. Conducting pre-audit quality / visitor checks. What you'll get in return The working hours are Monday-Thursday 0730-1600 and Friday 0730-1500. A salary of between £47,000 and £50,000 plus private healthcare.
