Elevation are excited to be working with a well-established and growing fabrication business that's on the lookout for a hands-on Production Manager to lead their busy workshop.

If you're someone who loves being on the shop floor, keeping things running smoothly, and getting the best out of a team – this could be for you.

What the role involves:

• Leading and motivating the production team to hit quality and delivery targets
• Planning and managing production schedules to make the most of time and resources
• Keeping an eye on performance and stepping in where needed
• Ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are always met
• Spotting and fixing any bottlenecks or slowdowns
• Keeping production costs in check without compromising on quality
• Working closely with other teams to keep everything on track
• Always looking for ways to improve – whether it's processes, systems, or team development
• Reporting key updates to the Head of Ops

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience as a Production Manager or similar leadership role (ideally in heavy engineering/fabrication/specialist machinery)
• Confident in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially fabrication and welding
• A natural leader who can motivate and support their team
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specs
• Familiar with H&S and quality control standards
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems
• Great communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
