Production Operative

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a
Production Operative / 5 Day Week Mon – Fri 6am – 2.30pm – Temp to Perm
Immediate start
Our client is a well-established company based in Morley, they offer an opportunity to join a great team in a pleasant work environment.
Reporting to the Production Manager. It's a physically demanding role, our client manufactures furniture, it will require you to move furniture frames and wrap pallets to get ready for delivery.
Job Purpose:
Take care, to move product and furniture around without causing any damage.
To complete work to a high-quality standard, whilst meeting deadlines.
To work with the production team to achieve the production schedule.
To observe company operational procedures / standards and individual customer requirements.
To observe Health and Safety regulations, being careful to look after yourself and others whilst at work.
To respond positively to any reasonable management request as required, in the overall management and development of the Factory.
Experience and skills required:
Good level of fitness and ability to lift furniture all day every day.
Able to get to work for 6.00am start each day.
Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
To work with all staff in maintaining 5s standards, and operate a 'clean as you go' regime aimed at providing an 'any visit, any time' standard.
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday - 06.00am – 2.30pm
Pay & Benefits:
£12.50 per hour
Regular overtime available
* First 2hrs x T1/3 (paid after 39hours)
* Thereafter T2/3
* Sunday Double Time
