Production Operative

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of industrial pre-cast concrete flooring components for the Construction industry.
Due to ongoing expansion, we require *Production Operatives* to join our team in Wisbech.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
The role, based at our busy concrete production factory will be to produce good quality concrete beams and planks which are ready to be installed.
*The role involves working outdoors all year round and demands a high level of physical activity.*
* Working as a team to produce good quality concrete beams and planks. * To lift and carry components used in producing concrete beams and planks. * To carry out quality checks on all beams produced including measuring the beams and planks lengths. * To help other teams in the production yard, depending on workload. * Daily cleaning of the work area to ensure it is ready for the following days casting.
*Key Skills*
* Previous experience as a construction labourer would be a distinct advantage * Patient and friendly manner * Able to work with a number of different nationalities * Able to understand and follow instruction. * Able to work as a Team * Physically fit and able * A Can do attitude * A Forklift Truck Licence would be a distinct advantage
*Job Details*
* Working Hours: 41.25 or 46.25 hrs per week * Contract Type: Permanent.
