Proactive Personnel are thrilled to be working with a global manufacturing business to recruit for a Production Scheduler to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis. The Production Scheduler will help plan, schedule, and monitor production activities at our clients manufacturing site. This role works closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement to ensure production plans are accurate, materials are available, and customer delivery targets are met. The Package:

Plan short- and long-term production requirements

Support procurement by helping schedule material purchases

Create and manage the master production schedule

Share planning information clearly with production teams

Update production and resource data in planning systems (ERP/MRP)

Track production progress and report performance to management

Ensure production schedules are aligned and achievable

Monitor production capacity and plant workload

Use sales forecasts to support planning decisions

Support capacity planning and SIOP activities

Create and issue job cards for manufacturing

Carry out other reasonable tasks related to the role

Skills and Experience Required

Previous production or scheduling experience preferred

Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems

Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, charts)

Good problem-solving and analytical abilities

Understanding of production and inventory management

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Strong teamwork and leadership skills

Ability to plan and manage work independently and with others
