Job Title: Production Supervisor / Production Manager Location: Redditch Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role As a Production Supervisor / Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery. You will play a key role in managing shop floor operations and leading a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily production operations
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff
* Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
* Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
* Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
* Liaise with other departments including planning, quality, and maintenance
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Assist with training and development of team members
Requirements
* Proven experience in a production supervisory or management role
* Strong background in sheet metal, welding, and fabrication (essential)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Hands-on approach with a proactive attitude
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices
