Our client is a leading London law firm who have an excellent reputation in the city for a multitude of their specialist departments.
Their reputation was established initially for their particularly stand-put expertise in the technology, media and entertainment sectors – consistently ranked Tier 1 in London. However, the firm’s capabilities spread far wider and they offer a full service to clients in all industries and sectors.
They have a first-class reputation in the private client space and are now looking for an ambitious Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join their leading team.

The Team
The firms' Legal 500 ranked Private Client team are well known known for acting for an exceptional client base of UHNW individuals, family offices, trustees, fiduciaries, and financial institutions, often on high-profile, cross-border matters.
The Role
This firm is looking to appoint a Professional Support Lawyer to join its Private Client & Tax team. The role will focus on strengthening the team’s technical capability by developing know-how, supporting lawyers with practical resources, and ensuring the group remains up to date with legal developments.
The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping internal best practice, delivering training, and contributing to client-facing insight. This would suit a technically strong Private Client lawyer with an interest in knowledge, training, and legal innovation.
Key areas of involvement:
- Know how and precedents – creating and refining precedents, guidance notes, templates and practical tools to support the team’s day-to-day work
- Training – developing and delivering technical training sessions for lawyers and trainees, helping to ensure consistent quality across the group
- Legal developments – tracking changes in legislation and case law, sharing clear and practical updates with the wider team
- Client and business development support – assisting with briefings, articles and other materials that demonstrate the team’s expertise, as well as supporting pitch content where required
- Legal tech – working closely with partners and colleagues contribute to knowledge initiatives, including the use of legal technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ PQE, spent in a reputable Private Client team
- Experience in a PSL or similar role is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
