Programme Test Lead

Glasgow (Hybrid - 1 or 2 times per week in the Office) Join us as a Programme Test Lead. As Programme Test Lead you will join a major technology-enabled transformation programme within a large UK public-sector organisation. The programme is replacing complex legacy systems with modern, multi-stack cloud and SaaS solutions. We are looking for a Programme Test Lead who can lead hands-on testing across a wide range of workstreams while coordinating with multiple teams, suppliers, and delivery partners. Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience What you'll do: Lead and execute System Integration Testing, End-to-End testing, and User Acceptance Testing across a multi-stack environment including Salesforce, SaaS components, and custom-coded systems. Develop structured test plans, schedules, scenarios, and reporting to support programme readiness and stakeholder decision-making. Manage and coordinate external supplier-led testing such as accessibility, penetration, and security testing. Drive issue resolution by working across functional, technical, and supplier teams to triage and manage defects. Contribute to the preparation and assurance of major programme go-lives, supporting fast-paced delivery and shifting priorities. The skills you'll need: Strong track record in End-to-End journey testing, System Integration Testing, and leading UAT cycles in complex environments. Experience working with multi-stack solutions combining SaaS, cloud, and custom-coded applications. Ability to manage and coordinate third-party suppliers delivering specialist testing (security, accessibility). Strong planning, organisational, and documentation skills with the ability to work at pace under pressure. Experience in regulated sectors (financial services) is advantageous.
