Project Accountant

What the role involves 

• Produce clear management information and analysis that supports timely, confident decisions.
• Own project budgets, forecasts and purchase-order controls across all change initiatives.
• Lead the annual R&D tax-credit claim (≈ £1 million).
• Partner with Project Managers, taking the financial planning burden off their shoulders.
• Maintain strong controls and provide robust evidence for internal and external audit.
• Continually improve project reporting—WIP, capex/opex treatment, benefits tracking and more.
