Project Controls Manager - Nuclear (Contract)
We're recruiting an experienced Project Controls Manager for a 6-month contract supporting major Sellafield nuclear projects. The role can be based in Warrington or Cumbria, with hybrid working available.

£70 per hour - Outside IR35
Hybrid working: 3 days on site/office, 2 days remote

The Role
You'll lead the Project Controls function across cost and planning activities on large EPC nuclear projects. This includes overseeing schedules, budgets, risk, reporting, and the performance of consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage project controls teams across planning and cost disciplines
Develop, maintain and report project schedules, budgets and forecasts
Oversee project controls systems, processes and performance reporting
Monitor progress, trends, productivity and critical path activities
Manage risk and change to protect project scope, schedule and cost
Produce and review project controls outputs (programmes, S-curves, histograms, progress reports)
Work closely with quality teams to support assurance and compliance
Liaise with key stakeholders to provide clear updates on progress and forecasts
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in project controls leadership on large EPC projects
Nuclear project experience highly desirable (Sellafield experience advantageous)
Advanced Primavera P6 and Excel skills
Strong planning, forecasting, reporting and data analysis capability
Ability to produce Level 3 schedules, resource histograms and progress curves
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
UK passport required
Security clearance required (support available to obtain if needed)
