Project Engineer - Stansted Airport 12-Month Contract | Major Aviation Infrastructure Programme
I'm currently supporting a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a major transformation programme at Stansted Airport, and they're looking to appoint multiple Project Engineers on a 12-month contract basis.
These roles sit across a range of projects within the programme, with opportunities on both design-focused packages and site-based delivery works. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-profile aviation environment with complex interfaces and stakeholders.
The Role Depending on the project, the Project Engineer will be responsible for a mix of design coordination and on-site delivery activities, including: Managing design coordination, including review of contractor drawings and SME input via systems such as Aconex, ensuring timely close-out of comments Responding to technical queries related to contractor design and supporting resolution with contractors Overseeing on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Identifying defects and non-conformances (NCRs), monitoring close-out actions, and escalating issues where required Reviewing and accepting contractor permit submissions in line with site requirements Supporting Construction Managers by assistin...
