Role:Project EngineerSalary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus annual bonus and benefits packageLocation:GatesheadMy client is a North East based, thriving engineering business, providing servicces to the offshoreand windfarm sectors.Owing to sustained growth, They are seeking an ambitious and driven Project Engineer to join their growing team and take ownership of the offshore handover and execution phases of their renewable energy projects.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and expanding sector.The RoleAs Project Engineer, you will manage the successful handover of projects from manufacturing through to offshore execution, ensuring campaigns are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.You will be the key point of coordination between internal teams, offshore personnel, and clients throughout the delivery phase of each project.Key ResponsibilitiesManage offshore project handover phases for manufactured ICCP systemsDevelop, prepare and present installation methodologies and work packs to clientsProduce visual installation plans using Navisworks and Autodesk InventorCoordinate day-to-day activities with Offshore Works teams including:Document ControlHSEOffshore TechniciansOperations support teamsLead regular client progress meetings (primarily online, with some onsite attendance)Support mobilisation, offshore campaign planning and post-installation close outEnsure all works are delivered in line with project schedules, quality requirements and HSE standardsAttend offshore or site locations when required (work uplifts applicable)The Person:Previous experience in a Technical / Project Engineer or similar delivery roleExperience within offshore renewables, marine, fabrication, engineering or related sectors preferredStrong working knowledge of Navisworks and Autodesk InventorAbility to produce and present installation / works methodologies confidently to clientsExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFull UK driving licence preferredThe role is based from their Gateshead site, offering hybrid working once fully up to speed, and may require occasional travel to client sites, including overseas travel.
