G3 Systems Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex deployable Engineered System Solutions (ESS) projects supporting the MOD, Home Office, and international defence clients. This role is pivotal in delivering high-value, mission-critical solutions on time, on budget, and to specification.You will take full ownership of multiple projects, managing multi-disciplined teams, resources, risk, and budgets, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong engagement with defence stakeholders, suppliers, and government clients, ensuring the highest levels of operational and customer excellence.Key Responsibilities:Deliver multiple ESS projects for defence and government clients, ensuring contractual requirements are metLead multi-disciplined project teams across electrical, mechanical, and technical disciplinesOwn project budgets, delegated financial responsibility, and accurate reportingDevelop and maintain project risk registers, KPIs, and dashboardsBuild and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with MOD, Home Office, and international defence partnersProduce and maintain MS Project plans, schedules, and timely technical and budgetary reportsSupport business development for new defence and government contractsDrive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying cost savings, efficiency gains, and operational improvementsFacilitate workshops, training, and coaching to enhance team capabilityQualifications & Experience:Recognised Project Management qualification (APM preferred)Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (minimum C&G level or equivalent)Minimum 3 years Project Management experience in defence or government projectsProven track record managing MOD, Home Office, or international military contractsStrong planning, programme management, and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to influence decisions through robust business casesPassion for continuous improvement and operational excellenceExcellent communication, record keeping, and organisational skillsWhy G3 Systems?
