A leading independent construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Manchester office and lead a mix of high-profile retail and hospitality developments across the North West. This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager looking for more client ownership and the chance to oversee complex, design-led schemes from inception to completion. The Project Manager will join a collaborative team working on projects ranging from £5m to £40m, with a strong pipeline into 2026. This role suits a confident and commercially aware Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The Project Manager's role The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from feasibility through to handover, working directly with private developers, operators, and major brands. Duties will include: End-to-end project leadership on new build and refurbishment schemes Preparing and maintaining project controls - programmes, risk registers, and cost reports Coordinating design and contractor teams Leading client meetings and providing strategic advice Managing procurement and contract administration (JCT ) Driving quality, budget, and programme performance The Project Manager will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team, depending on project scale.
