Job Description

Project Manager / Senior Authorised Person – 12 Month Contract – South East, England – Outside IR35 – Offshore wind – April start

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Authorised Person to support a major infrastructure project within the transmission and distribution sector. This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who combines HV authorisations with proven project delivery experience.

The Role:

Act as the key interface between the client and site team Take full ownership of project delivery (programme, budget & scope) Manage stakeholders and provide regular progress updates Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations Oversee work packages and coordinate site teams Provide electrical safety from the system Issue and cancel safety documents Prepare and implement switching schedules

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Project Manager within HV / Transmission / Substation projects Current or previous Senior Authorised Person authorisations (preferably 132kV+) Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Rules Experience managing budgets and reporting on financial performance Ability to liaise confidently with clients and senior stakeholders Engineering, production or maintenance background

Logistics:

Hybrid but preferably situated in the South East of England Monday to Friday 12 month contract (Outside IR35) April start
