Project Manager Contract Duration: Until 31/03/2026 Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in Farringdon or Sheffield) Job Type: Contract Join our team at Reed Professional Services, a management consultancy specialising in IT and financial services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work with the Technology Commercial team. This role involves supporting key projects within a prestigious, long-standing UK organisation. Day-to-day of the role: Lead end-to-end delivery of projects involving SAP or finance systems, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met. Identify, track, and manage interdependencies across projects and workstreams to mitigate risks and ensure seamless delivery. Maintain robust governance, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues to key business stakeholders. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Champion best practices in project and change management, contributing to process improvements and lessons learned. Understand the drivers to enable others to perform; show empathy but equally set clear, unambiguous targets that individuals, teams, and suppliers are held accountable to. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven track record of delivering complex projects in large organisations. Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and driving cultural/behavioural change. Hands-on experience with SAP implementations or finance transformation projects. Exceptional ability to influence and manage multiple senior stakeholders. Skilled in identifying and managing cross-project dependencies. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches. Desirable: Experience in Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP; Continuous Improvement; Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office tools; Supplier Management.
